  There isn't a whole lot of choice when it comes to theaters in Cornwall. The Galaxy shows the current movies, but they also have some other content: games, child-friendly showings, stuff like that.

  There is no customer experience. Theater 5 had a huge rip in the screen for a couple months. Despite this, they still showed movies. Because Cineplex has pretty close to a monopoly in Canada and don't actually care anymore about customer experience. Seats havent been updated since it opened and are majority uncomfortable for a 2 hour show.

  Pre-bought tickets online and brought my receipt to obtain the tickets at the kiosk as advised on my online confirmation. The kiosk didn't recognize my confirmation, so I asked a staff member who told me I had to wait in line to order tickets? There is NO line for just movie tickets. You have to stand in the concession line to buy just tickets! There are no show times or movies listed anywhere in line and they are slow as molasses! 25 minutes waiting in line to get tickets I bought online to expedite this process. When I am finally served the guy at the concession had no idea so he said he would get his manager. The manager comes out and says someone already collected these tickets. I asked how that is possible as the confirmation specifically says you have to show ID to collect the tickets!?! She started throwing attitude and wrote something o a scrap piece of paper for me to give to the ticket collector. I cannot believe this person is a manager!. Rude and inconsiderate. I will not return to this theatre...it is so badly organize and there was garbage all over the floor like no one cleans up. Certainly not inviting.

  Worst Cinemas anywhere dont waste ur money go anywhere else. 30mins in line to get skipped to the back of another line BS will never attempt to go here again..

  I keep track of my theater trips. In 2017 alone, I've been to this theater for 30 shows (31 tomorrow night). And Star Wars isn't even out yet. I hate attending this theater, but have no choice except to go out of town which isn't always feasible. I've submitted multiple complaints through the Cineplex Listens website. I have asked for a corporate email or number to escalate further, since manager Teresa has no interest in resolving customer issues, but I've yet to receive an email/number.

  They offer caption devices for deaf/hard of hearing (so far we haven't been able to use this without problems but we'll keep trying) and descriptive audio for the blind (haven't used this service).

  You can order/pay for tickets online and pick them up at one of the many kiosks in the lobby, you can buy tickets at the kiosks, or you can get them at the snack counters.

  I've never encountered an employee at the Galaxy who wasn't friendly and helpful.

  On a non-busy day, things are fine. But any 7pm showing or day where there is a new big movie playing, the lineups are insane. Multiple reasons for this: employees usually move at a snail's pace. At least 2 people, often 3 or 4, standing at the ticket ripping counter (as if folks cant read their ticket or the posters to guide themselves to their theater). There is no real structure to who is on cash, who is making drinks, who is expediting food, etc. It's a free for all and no one is really interested in helping out.
